Which evidence gap matters next?

Work through one product, application and market. Twelve questions help you locate the evidence to request before your next commitment.

This is a self-assessment of the evidence you say you have. It does not verify that evidence or certify technical, regulatory or investment readiness.

No email required. Your answers stay in this tab. They are not sent to FoodEdge or saved when you leave. Print the result if you want to keep it.

Choose “Documented” only if you can point to evidence that answers the question. “Partly supported” means a material gap remains. “No evidence yet” means you have checked and found a gap. “I do not know” means its status is unknown.

01. Application

Does the evidence answer the intended product question?

A product brief with a named use and market.

A documented comparison under conditions relevant to that use.

02. Scale

What changes beyond the laboratory?

A process map with scale-sensitive assumptions and their limits.

Evidence beyond fermentation output alone, including losses and specification.

03. Requirements

What must be resolved before this sale?

A scoped assessment by an appropriately competent person.

A dated list of gaps and responsibilities, including safety and quality where relevant.

04. Adoption

What would make a buyer accept it?

A traceable conversation or document, with its limits made clear.

Application evidence using an agreed comparison; interest alone is not an order.

05. Economics

What does an accepted product cost?

A model linked to accepted output, with sources for its assumptions.

Sensitivity checks covering plausible changes and their cash consequences.

06. Next commitment

What should happen before you commit?

A specific decision with a time horizon and resources at stake.

An executable test or evidence request with a review date and decision condition.

Facilitated workshop

Bring the question to a Decision Lab.

Work through the evidence with a team, challenge the preferred option and define a useful next test. See the programme, sample output and pricing before making an enquiry.
