FoodEdge editorial blocks, version 1.9.5

Requires the FoodEdge theme CSS and editorial.js. In Ghost, add an HTML card and paste a block. Replace all examples, dates and sources. Use the card menu to save a reusable snippet. Preview desktop, mobile and email before publishing.

An HTML card styles content. It does not protect paid data. Use Ghost membership access and a separately authenticated download service for protected files. A public Flourish chart remains public even inside a paid article.

Interactive charts and motion work on the website. Newsletters need a static image, table and normal link. The chart has a readable table fallback for web and print; email rendering still needs a send-preview check.

Examples with AI images, scenario numbers and preview reports are explicitly illustrative. Replace demo offers before launch. No fake deadlines, subscriber numbers or discounts.

Do not use em dashes or en dashes in reader-facing text. Use hyphens and commas.

Native Ghost menu: 13 confirmed snippets, including Decision note and Member discussion. The automatic reading route does not need manual anchors. reading-route.html is an advanced example, replace its anchor targets before use. Advertisement.html is a hidden, unconfigured placement and must not be made visible before advertiser wording and destination are approved.

1.9.5: Photo reading and Editorial banner added to this kit and the publishing workshop. Their native-menu status is recorded separately in the release checklist. Existing snippets share the refined theme styles. The decorative geometry is CSS background artwork, not editorial evidence. Theme-only styling and interactive checks do not automatically become newsletter layouts.
